Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had numerous abilities, which included the ability perform, direct production, create plays teaching, as well as be the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father was British, and her mother is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Anna Silk remembers her mother watching work at play rehearsals. Her appearances in commercials were numerous when she was a child. Anna moved to Toronto in Ontario to pursue her acting. The decade which followed, she made the move in Los Angeles. She met Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actor's training located in Los Angeles, and they got engaged in the year 2009. Anna had changed her religion to Judaism and they got married in Fredericton.
