Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood is she is an American comedian and television host most well-known as anchor on The Talk, a popular talk show on the daytime channel. Born in Arkansas she grew up by her parents in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. She spent the majority of her youth taking care of her sick sister Frankie. As a teenager, she had many problems with her mother. Sheryl says that at an incident, she was stabbed by her father because he was having a relationship with her. Following her college graduation Sheryl entered the military. However her interest lay in comedy. She was the first female winner of the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. In 1992, she began her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. Then in 2000 she starred as host of the television program Oh Drama! In 2011, she began appearing as a co-host on The Talk as co-host. Additionally, she has portrayed fictional characters in shows like Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth or Beauty Shop.
