Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. The daughter is an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. She is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's former marriage. The family was at Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria area in London. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires to Victoria was difficult and she did not learn English in hopes of going again to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was required to switch schools. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school productions. At the age of 16, she quit school to make a career of acting. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to become an actress and her goals were realized when she was given an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
