Fawn Mckay

Fawn Brodie McKay was born on September 15, 1915, was raised in Ogden Utah. Fawn MCKAY, brought up in the Mormon Church's First Family employed her creative talents and skills in researching to produce the fascinating psycho-historical biographical biography of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945, under the name No Man knows My History, she used both. The title came from a funeral sermon delivered by the founder of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844, when he shocked his listeners by declaring: You don't know me you never knew my heart. Nobody knows my story. It's impossible for me to reveal it. Fawn, a 29-year-old woman has written: "Since that moment of truthfulness, three or more writers have risen to the challenge." A lot of them have denigrated him and while others have glorified him. Some have tried their hands at clinical diagnosis it is not just that the documents do not exist, but it is rather that they're wildly contradictory. The task of assembling the papers -in order to distinguish first-hand stories from plagiarism by third parties, and to then put Mormon and non Mormon accounts together into a reliable mosaic isn't an simple job. It is both fascinating and educational. FawnBrodie was a dedicated devotee to her profession. Thaddeus S. Stevens was immortalized by her writing and by the results of her studies. "The Devil's Road" (1959) The Southern Scourge. Thomas Jefferson. A personal biography of Richard Nixon (1974) as and posthumously Richard Nixon.
